Under the Chairmanship of renowned educationist and a household name, Prof Atta ur Rahman (NI), the Federal Taskforce has been a source of encouragement and ownership from the very beginning. Its members include eminent physicians, epidemiologists, virologists and career bureaucrats who pooled expertise under the worthy Chairman to get this off-label trial underway.

The clinical trials on various drugs being conducted under PROTECT represent an important scientific initiative to establish the efficacy of different drugs on Covid 19 patients.
